Investigation revealed that Purington allegedly broke an emesis bag holder off from the wall and threw it, as well as behaved in a loud, profane manner She was located walking away from the hospital.

Summary of Incident:

On 01/08/18 a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Park Street, Springfield, VT for a turn signal violation, which had occurred on an adjacent street. Christopher L Merritt, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an outstanding Vermont arrest warrant. Conversation with the occupants led to suspected heroin being found on Anna M Andrews. A subsequent search of the vehicle did no locate any further contraband.

Andrews was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on February 27, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Heroin. She was released on the citation.

Merritt was cited to appear in Windsor Count V Criminal Court on January 9, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Failure to Appear for a court proceeding and subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1500.00) cash or surety bail.

Summary of Incident:

On 11/29/17 at approximately 11/29/17, a motorist traveling on Park Street reported witnessing Maria Perez yelling at and assaulting two pedestrians. All parties were gone when responding police units arrived on scene. 

Through investigation, the pedestrians were later identified, but they were not fully cooperative with the investigation. Perez was located on a later date and based on the caller's observations, she was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Unit, Criminal Division, on 02/27/18 to answer to the alleged charge of Disorderly Conduct.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 1/4/18 Officers were sent to investigate the report that Mary Schaefer was reportedly walking to Benjamin Carr's residence.  Schaefer was on conditions not to have contact with Carr. After an initial contact with Schaefer at which time she was advised not to have contact with Carr, officers made contact with Schaefer, wherein she was arrested for the alleged offense of VCOR and DC.

Schaefer was subsequently lodged at SSCF in lieu of $1000 cash or surety bail and was cited to appear on January 5th, 2018 to answer to the alleged charges.

The subject was identified as Benjamin Ogden and he had broken several objects in his hospital room as well as struck a nurse. 

Ogden was taken into custody and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. Ogden was issued a citation to appear to answer to the alleged charges of Unlawful Mischief and Assault on Medical Staff. 

After processing Ogden was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000 cash or surety bail and was scheduled to be arraigned on January 4th in Windsor County Criminal Court.

On 01/05/2018 at approximately 0015 hours Officers observed a vehicle leave a suspected drug residence and followed the vehicle. The vehicle parked on Westview Terrace and the operator was identified as Jason Morin. 

Officers knew that Jason had an active arrest warrant through Probation. 

As Morin was taken into custody without issue. he was found to allegedly be in possession of a controlled substance. Morin was then transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. 

Morin was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility on the arrest warrant and was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on 02/27/2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
