Officer's
responded to Union Street for a report of a television being stolen. The victim
reported that she had seen Christopher Merritt allegedly walking out of her house and down the street
with her television which he allegedly had no right to. Merritt was located on Park Street and
taken into custody.
Merritt was issued a citation to appear on September 12th to answer to the alleged charge.
