On 03/10/2018 Officers made contact with a female who advised that she was being harassed by Joshua Webster. A check revealed that Joshua has active Conditions of Release not to have any contact with the victim. 

On 03/11/2018 Hartford Vermont Police Department took Joshua into custody on an active warrant. Joshua was issued a citation for Violation of Conditions of Release to appear at a later date.

Joshua was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on March 12th, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Violation of Conditions of Release.

On 03/01/2018 Officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle parked off of Maple Street. Jennifer Graham was allegedly in the vehicle and during a search of the vehicle she was found to be in possession of alleged Cocaine. Jennifer also gave a false name to the police. 

At this time an arrest warrant is being requested so that Jennifer may answer to the charges of Possession of Cocaine and False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.

Summary of Incident:

On 03/09/2018 Officers were dispatched to the Springfield Shopping Plaza for a report of a male subject who was allegedly creating a scene in Family Dollar. The male subject then allegedly jumped on top of a vehicle in the parking lot. 

The male was identified as Jerome Cloutier.  Jerome was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on May 15th, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Disorderly Conduct.

Summary of Incident: Officer's responded to the area of Park Street and Union Street for a report of a male pushing a female around and yelling at her while they were walking down the

roadway. 

Officer's arrived at 104 Park Street and were told the male and female had gone inside. The female was located and allegedly said that her boyfriend Higginbotham had allegedly pushed her against a wall causing her to feel pain, allegedly grabbed her by the neck and allegedly grabbed and pushed her as she was walking down the road. Higginbotham allegedly did these actions as she was trying to end their relationship.

On March 15, 2018 Officer's located Higginbotham at 100 River Street in Springfield, Vermont. After a short foot pursuit Higginbotham was taken into custody.

Joseph Higginbotham was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on March 16, 2018 to answer to the alleged charges of Domestic Assault, Aggravated Disorderly Conduct and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $5000.00 cash or surety bail.

Summary of Incident: On 03-15-2018 Springfield Police were dispatched to Valley St. for a citizen dispute complaint. Upon investigation Brett Smith was taken into custody for alleged 2" Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault.

Smith was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 03-16-2018 to answer to the alleged charge of 2" Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault. Smith was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility and held until sober.

On 03/12/2018 Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject at the Truck Stop. Michael Merrill was allegedly the operator of the vehicle.

A search of Michael and the vehicle was conducted. Michael was found to be in possession of suspected heroin.

Michael was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on May 15th, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Crack Cocaine.

Summary of Incident:

On the evening of March 18, 2018 a motorist reported an erratic operator on VT RT 106 traveling into Springfield from Weathersfield. The caller provided a description of the vehicle as it turned into a housing complex in North Springfield. 

A check of the area by officers found a vehicle matching the description. The registered owner's address was listed as the complex where the vehicle was located. Officers made contact with the owner, Lawrence Kraft. Investigation found reason to believe that Kraft had been operating the vehicle and that he was under the influence while doing so. Kraft was taken into custody and processed for suspicion of driving while under the influence.

Kraft was cited to appear in 'Windsor Country Criminal Court on April 3, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence #2. He was released on a citation to appear in court.

Summary of Incident:

Ezequelle was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Missing Link Road (US RT 5) near the Springfield/Rockingham town line where he went off the side of the road and struck a tree. There were no injuries reported with the crash. 

Ezequelle displayed signs of being under the influence. He was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and processed at Springfield Police Department. He was then released on a citation to appear at a later time to answer to the alleged offense of Driving Under the Influence.

Ezequelle was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on April 10, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence.

Summary of Incident:

Springfield Police and Chester Police received multiple reports of a male in the middle of VT T 10 near the Springfield/Chester town line accosting passing vehicles. Officers located the subject on Main Street, North Springfield, just off of VT RT 10. 

When officers attempted to make contact with the subject he became belligerent and combative then running away from officers. Once located he resisted arrest and attempted to kick officers. Subject was identified as James A. Dyer Jr.

Dyer was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on Monday March 5, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge(s) of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Attempted Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. He was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in on conditions of release and a hold until sober order.
