Summary
of Incident:
On
June 5, 2018 at 0800 hours Springfield Ambulance and Springfield Police
responded to a Pearl Street
residence for a report of an unresponsive male subject on the floor of an apartment. On arrival contact was made with the
male, who was identified as Keith L. Gokey.
Investigation found that Gokey was intoxicated. Further investigation found that
he had made suicidal statements while in contact with a person he was
prohibited from having contact with due to
an active restraining order.
He declined medical treatment.
Gokey was taken
into custody on the alleged violation of the restraining order. He was order held until sober and issued a
citation for the violation of the abuse prevention order.
Keith L. Gokey was cited to appear in
Windsor Country Criminal Court on June 6, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge
of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order.
