Summary of Incident:
On
3-16-2019 The Springfield Police were alerted by the Chester Police reference a
possible domestic assault that had taken place. The victim alleged that the
defendant physically assaulted her
and then prevented her from contacting police. The victim was able to escape
with her young child and travel to
her parent's house where the police were notified. The defendant was later
contacted and taken into custody without incident.
Menard
was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 3-18-2019 to answer to
the alleged charge of Domestic
Assault and interference with emergency services.
