approximately 1215 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic
violation. Britani Whitcomb was identified as a passenger in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle
and the occupants was conducted and Whitcomb was allegedly found to be in possession of
suspected heroin. Whitcomb was arrested and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. Whitcomb was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 29, 2017 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Heroin.
