Arrest - Unlawful Trespass - Dwelling

Defendant:  Hali Bailey, 23,  Springfield, VT
It is alleged that on September 6, 2017 Hali Bailey entered her mother's residence without permission to do so, knowing she had no right to do so.
Bailey was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 3rd to answer to the alleged charge.

On or about July 10th, 2017 The defendant allegedly entered a residence through an unlocked window without permission. The defendant was taken into custody and processed without incident.
Stone was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on November 7th to answer to the alleged charge of Unlawful Trespass


Arrest - Possession of Heroin

Harper was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Investigation revealed that he was allegedly in possession of heroin.
Harper was subsequently cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 24th to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Heroin

Springfield Police were dispatched to Missing Link Rd. in Springfield, VT for a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon investigation, Todd Bertrand was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on September 5th for alleged Grand Larceny, Aggravated Operating without Owner's Consent, Attempting to Elude, Trespass by Motor Vehicle, Excessive Speed, Gross Negligent Operation and Criminal-DLS.

Springfield Police were dispatched to Mineral St. in Springfield, VT for an agency assist. Upon investigation, Steven Bennett was cited into Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on October 24th for alleged possession of heroin.

Upon investigation, Kristin Kenreich was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on October 24th for alleged Retail Theft.

Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of an alleged minor motor vehicle violation on Chester Rd. in Springfield, VT. Upon investigation, Danielle McAllister was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on October 17th to answer to the alleged charge of Criminal-DLS.

Defendant:  Timothy  C. Whitcher,  37,  Springfield, VT
On August 30, 2017 at approximately 2155 hours Springfield Police stopped a vehicle on Reservoir Road for a defective equipment violation. The operator, Timothy Whitcher, was found to be operating on a suspended license. Further it was determined that Whitcher was criminally suspended as the result of a previous DUI conviction. 
Whitcher was processed and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on October 24th to answer to the alleged violation of Driving after License Suspension.

Arrest - Leaving the Scene of an Accident - False Info to an Officer

Defendant:  Brooke Goodwin, 19,  Springfield, Vermont
Officer's responded to the Bank Block parking lot on Main Street for a motor vehicle accident with the offender leaving the scene. Witness to the event obtained a registration number as well as driver identifiers. 
Police canvassed the area and located the vehicle at a business on River Street. Police allegedly watched Goodwin and another female checking the vehicle over in the area the damage was on the
vehicle and she allegedly was witnessed being seen wiping down the area of the motor vehicle collision damage. 

When contact was made with her she denied doing so.

Goodwin was cited and released to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 24th to answer to the alleged charges.

Defendant:  Jeffrey Snyder, 30, Chester, Vermont

A disabled Springfield resident reported discovering that multiple unauthorized deductions totaling over $2,000 had been made from his checking account between October 2016 and January 2017. 
Investigation revealed that Jeffrey Snyder allegedly uttered 7 forged checks that were written on the victim's account.  Investigation also revealed that Snyder allegedly made 20 online purchases utilizing the victims' debit card.   Investigation further revealed that Snyder allegedly utilized the victim's debit card to make purchases at a number of area businesses. 
During the course of this investigation, a search warrant was executed at Snyder's residence and multiple items that had allegedly been purchased with the victim's debit card were located and seized as evidence.
Snyder has been cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 24th to answer to the alleged charges.
