Summary of Incident: On 12-09-2018 Springfield Police were dispatched to River St. for a report of a retail theft. Upon investigation Elizabeth Johnson was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court for alleged retail theft.
Johnson was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on February 12, 2019 at 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge.

Defendant:  Stephanie Brunner, 31, Perkinsville VT 
Summary of Incident:
On 12/22/2018 Officers were dispatched to the area of Eureka Road and Skitchewaug Trail for a report of a single vehicle crash. Stephanie Brunner was allegedly the operator of the vehicle. Following a brief investigation, Stephanie was suspected of being under the influence. Stephanie was arrested and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. 
Stephanie was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on January 8th, 2019 to answer to the alleged charge of DUI.

Arrest - Home Improvement Fraud

Defendant: Robert Soldo
Summary of Incident:
On 09/14/2018 at approximately 1104 hours I was dispatched to the front lobby of the Springfield Police Department to speak with a subject about an alleged home improvement fraud. After further investigation, it was found that the defendant, Robert Soldo, was in a written contract with the complainant for a barn relocation project. 
Soldo allegedly received $8,000 and did not complete the project and did not repay the complainant. 
Soldo was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 02/12/2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Home Improvement Fraud.

Summary of Incident: On 12-18-2018 at approximately 1537 hours Springfield Police were dispatched to River St. for a report of a subject refusing to leave a local business after being requested to do so.
Upon investigation Catherine Rushia was taken into custody for alleged unlawful trespass.
Rushia was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on 02- 12-2019 at 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge of Unlawful Trespass.

Summary of Incident:
On 12/20/2018 at approximately 2053 hours I was dispatched to the area of 175 Main Street, North Springfield, VT for the report of a rollover motor vehicle crash with no injuries. Upon arrival I was met by the defendant who, upon further investigation, was found to be allegedly operating the motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants. 
The defendant was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 01/08/2018 at approximately 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence.

Summary of Incident:
On 11/30/2018 at approximately 2319 hours the defendant's vehicle was stopped on Union Street by Union Street School for a suspected motor vehicle violation. The operator was identified as Gordon Jacobs of Rockingham, VT. 
A check of his license status found his Vermont driver's license/privilege to drive was allegedly under suspension. Jacobs was taken into custody for criminal DLS. 
Jacobs was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 01/22/2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Criminal DLS.

Juvenile Citation - Possession of Marijuana

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11-29-2018 The Springfield High School contacted the Springfield Police Department and alleged that a student had been caught with marijuana on school grounds. The student was later asked to appear with parents at the Springfield Police Department where he was issued a juvenile citation for the alleged offense.
The Juvenile was cited to appear in Windsor County Family Court at a later date

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: The Springfield Police were contacted by a local store owner reference missing items in the store. Upon review of video surveillance it was alleged that an employee was responsible for the missing items. The employee was confronted and confessed to removing the items from the store without paying for them.
Ramos was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on January 8, 2019 to answer to the charge of Retail Theft.
