One June 11, 2017 Officers responded to the area of 50 Clinton Street, Springfield, Vermont for the report of a possible domestic assault in progress involving two subjects that had just been in a car. 
During the investigation it is alleged that the operator of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol.

Adams was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court to answer to the alleged charge on June 27, 2017.

Springfield Police were dispatched to Route 106 in N. Springfield, VT for a report of a motor vehicle accident in which the vehicle was said to have rolled over. Upon investigation Aaron Wheeler was cited into Windsor Superior Court-Criminal Division on August 22, 2017 for alleged Gross Negligent Operation.

On Sunday, 06/18/2017 at approximately 13:10 hours Springfield Police came into contact with Jeffrey Matteson on Park St. 
Matteson was found to have an active warrant for his arrest, stemming from an alleged charge of Escape from the VT Dept. of Corrections. 
Matteson was taken into custody without incident and was later lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

On 06/09/2017 officers and DCF responded to Foster Ave for a report of a possible domestic that occurred on 06/08/2017.  Stephen Meier was alleged to have committed the offenses of Domestic Assault, and aggravated disorderly conduct. 
Meier was issued a citation to appear in court on June 19th to answer to the alleged charges.

On 06/19/2017 at approximately 2200 hours Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. The operator was identified as Drew Hatt. 
A search of the vehicle was conducted and Hatt was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Hatt was arrested for DUI and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 
Hatt was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing and was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 8th to answer to the above alleged charges.

Defendant:  Conrad C. Moore III, 22, Springfield, Vermont
On 06/21/17, Springfield Police were dispatched to Spencer Hollow Road to investigate a motor vehicle accident. Neither occupant reported any injuries. Investigation revealed that Conrad Moore had allegedly been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Moore was arrested and transported to the police station for processing. Moore allegedly broke a telephone belonging to the Springfield Police Department when he became angry while speaking with a relative about his situation.
Moore was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on July 11th to answer to the above alleged charges.

Suspicions Event



On the evening of Wednesday, June 21st, a teenage girl contacted the Springfield Police Department to report that a suspicious male had exited his vehicle and gotten out to speak with her while she was walking alone along South Street at approximately 7:00pm that evening.

The man reportedly flashed an identification card that said "Springfield Police Department" on it, and he identified himself as an undercover officer.

The man reportedly asked the girl to show him that she was not in possession of drugs. The man then got back into his car and drove-off headed southbound on South Street.

The description of the man was as follows: white, 6'1", thin, 30s, clean shaven, short and very curly black hair, raspy voice, camouflage shorts, black tank top, and black shoes.

The man reportedly smelled as though he had smoked marijuana. The man was said to be driving a black or brown, Vermont registered, Subaru station wagon with tinted windows and an antenna on top.

If anyone has any information as to the identity of this person, they are asked to contact Sergeant Gregory Molgano at 802-885-2113. The public should be aware that no such individual is employed as an officer by the Town of Springfield.

On Friday, May 26th at approximately 08:22 hours, Springfield Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Clinton St. 
The operator of this vehicle, Brian P. Enright, was found to be allegedly operating without an ignition interlock device, which was required by the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles. 
Enright was issued a citation to appear in  Windsor County Criminal Court on July 18th to answer to this charge.

A search of Montgomery was conducted and he was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin. 
Montgomery was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on July 18th to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Heroin.

Defendant:  Joshua Morse, 27, Bellows Falls, VT

On May 4, 2017 Morse was at the Vermont Department of Corrections Probation & Parole Springfield office. Morse was informed by probation & parole officers that he had violated his furlough and was being returned to jail. 

Morse told officers that he was not going back to jail and attempted to leave the Probation & Parole office. Officers were able to subdue and restrain Morse and he was returned to jail by probation & parole officers. 

Probation & Parole made the report of Morse's attempted escape to law enforcement, Springfield Police. 

Morse was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on June 20, 2017 to answer to the allegation of Attempted Escape.

Blanchard was taken into custody and processed at the Springfield Police Department and subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $500.00 bail without issue.

On June 3rd at approximately 2032 hours Officers made contact with Amber White at the Village Pizza who had an active warrant. 

As Officers were attempting to place White in handcuffs she began to resist and was taken into custody. 

White was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail and issued a citation for the alleged Resisting Arrest to appear at a later date.
