He then allegedly was exiting the store via the entrance, which bypasses the point of sale. He was intercepted in the foyer by the staff and the Twisted Teas recovered.

On 11/02/2018 at approximately 2005 hours the defendant's vehicle was stopped on Park Street by Goodyear Avenue for a traffic violation. The operator was identified as Scott Sargent of Sharon, VT. A check of his license status found his Vermont driver's license/privilege to drive was currently under suspension. Sargent also had conditions of release. One of the conditions was that the defendant cannot operate a motor vehicle. 
Sargent was issued a warning for the traffic violation and was taken into custody for criminal DLS and violation of conditions of release. Sargent was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 12/11/2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Criminal DLS and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Handy was later featured as the Sullivan County NH Fugitive of the week. Handy was located in Springfield at a later date and charged as a fugitive. Handy was identified as the subject that provided the false name and was given a citation for this offense.
Handy was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 12/18/18 to answer to the alleged charge.
