Summary of Incident:

On 04/26/2019 at approximately 1816 hours Officers conducted a traffic stop on South Street. Desiray Bemis was allegedly the operator of the vehicle. A search of Desiray and her vehicle was conducted and Desiray was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and suspected bath salts.

Desiray was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 06/18/2019 to answer to the alleged charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of Bath Salts.

Summary of Incident:

On 04/16/2019 at approximately 1425 hours I was dispatched to 1 Union Street for the report that the victim had been assaulted by the defendant. After speaking with the victim, they advised that the defendant had allegedly strangled them causing red marks to the right side of the victim's neck, and shoulder area. 

The defendant was located and arrested on the alleged charge of Domestic Assault. The defendant, Lawrence Daniels was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 04/17/2019 to answer to the alleged charge of 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault. Daniels was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500.00 cash or surety bail.

Congdon, who allegedly was wanted, was observed on Main Street and taken into custody.

Congdon was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 4/18/19 to answer to the alleged charge of Wanted Person. Congdon was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $200 cash or surety bail.

Summary of Incident:

On 04/20/2019 Officers responded to a residence on South Ridge Street for a report of Douglas Sargent who was allegedly inside the residence. Douglas had an active arrest warrant. Upon arrival Officers observed Douglas inside the residence and after a short while he came out of the residence and was taken into custody without issue.

Douglas was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash or surety bail.

Summary of Incident:

Springfield PD received a call from 911 advising that Nathan Turpin was allegedly trying to force his way into his mother's residence and had BB guns and knives. Upon arrival all parties were separated. Based on information gained Turpin was charged with the alleged crimes of Unlawful Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.

Nathan Turpin was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit
on May 28° 2019 to answer to the alleged charges of Unlawful Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.

Summary of Incident:

On 04/10/2019 at approximately 0944 hours the defendant's vehicle was stopped on River Street by the Mobil Gas Station. The operator was identified as Joshua Macey who I knew to be criminally suspended A check of his license status found his Vermont driver's license/privilege to drive was allegedly under suspension. Macey was taken into custody for Criminal DLS. Macey was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 06/04/2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Criminal DLS.

Summary of Incident:

Information was received that Burton was visiting a residence in Springfield he is prohibited from being at by a Juvenile Protection Order. In checking the area of the residence his vehicle was found parked in the area. Burton was located at the prohibited residence.

Burton was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 12:30 PM to answer to the alleged charge of Violation of Juvenile Protection Order. Burton was then released on the citation and Conditions of Release set by the court.

This resulted in minor injuries to the victim. Turcio was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 8, 2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Simple Assault. Turcio was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000.00 cash or surety bail.

On 04/05/2019 at approximately 0400 hours Officers made contact with a vehicle in the parking lot of the truck stop. 

K-9 AJ allegedly alerted to the odor of narcotics and a search of the vehicle was
conducted. 

During the search, heroin paraphernalia and suspected bath salts were located in the truck. Matthew Gonyea was allegedly the owner of the bath salts.

Matthew was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 05/28/2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of Bath Salts.

Summary of Incident: Over the course of several days in March, Johnson allegedly contacted the victim of a pending court case against him. Johnson was prohibited from contacting the victim. Johnson allegedly encouraged the victim to provide a differing story to get him released from jail.

Johnson was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 4/30/19 to answer to the alleged charges of Obstruction of Justice and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Summary of Incident:

The Springfield Police Department received a call from a concerned citizen reporting that Jessie Ryan was allegedly operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle description was given and officers were able to locate the vehicle traveling south at the intersection of VT RT 106 and Orchard Lane. 

The vehicle was stopped and after field tests were conducted, Ryan was taken into custody without incident for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Ryan was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 16th, 2019 at 0800 to answer to the alleged charge of DUI.

Officers and Troopers responded to an address on Park Street for report that Miki Seaver was staying at the residence. It was reported that Seaver had an outstanding arrest warrant. On arrival Seaver was taken into custody without incident.

Seaver was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 1s^t 2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Failure to appear. Seaver was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of 500 cash or surety bail.

Summary of Incident:

Officers were asked to respond to an address on Stanley Road for a report of an alleged Physical altercation. On arrival it was alleged that Kristina Lawrence had assaulted an adult female. There were no other reported injuries.

On 03/21/2019 at approximately 1551 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Rt 11. Zachary Bridge was allegedly the operator of the vehicle. Zachary is criminally suspended. Zachary was also found to have an active arrest warrant. Zachary was affected and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.

On 03/25/2019 at approximately 1915 hours Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on South Street. Earl Guy was allegedly the operator of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and heroin paraphernalia was found inside the vehicle.

  A search warrant for Earl's residence located at 79 Merrill Street was granted and executed at      approximately 0042 hours. During the search suspected heroin and a firearm were located.

Earl was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 05/21/2019 to answer to the alleged charges of Possession of Heroin and Felon in Possession of Firearm.
