Summary of Incident:
On August 25, 2018 Springfield Police received a report of two stolen bicycles from a residence on South Street. Investigation developed information implicating Nathan Heist of Springfield. Investigation lead to the two bicycles being recovered and returned to the owner. 
Heist is alleged to have been involved in the theft of the bicycles and was subsequently cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 23, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Petit Larceny.

Summary of Incident:
On August 25, 2018 Springfield Police received a report of two stolen bicycles from a residence on South Street. Investigation developed information implicating Nathan Heist of Springfield. In questioning Greenier about his knowledge of Heist's involvement it was learned the Greenier was involved and knew the location of the stolen bicycles. 
The bicycles were recovered and returned to the owner. Greenier is alleged to have been involved in the theft of the bicycles and was subsequently cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on October 16, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Petit Larceny.

Summary of Incident:
On 08/25/2018 Officers were dispatched to a residence on Mineral Street for a report of a possible domestic. Officers made contact with Nathan Heist. After determining that no one was assaulted Officers conducted a search of Nathan. 
Nathan was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. When Officers informed Nathan that he was under arrest he attempted to run. 
Officers were able to quickly apprehend Nathan and arrest him. He was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. 
Nathan was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on August 27th, 2018 
to answer to the alleged charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting 
Arrest. Nathan was then lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Summary of Incident:
On 08/23/2018 at approximately 1605 hours Officers were dispatched to 2 White Street for a report of a burglary. Upon investigating it was determined that Samuel Colby had allegedly burglarized the apartment next to his. Samuel was taken into custody and showed officers where he had allegedly hidden the stolen item. 

Samuel was then transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. Samuel was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 08/24/2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Burglary. Samuel was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or surety bail.

Boyce was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on September 11, 2018 at 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charges.

Summary of Incident:

On 08/15/2018 Officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Penguin Mart. Stephen Hill was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle. A search of the occupants and the vehicle was conducted. It was discovered that Stephen had an active arrest warrant for Sales of Fentanyl. Upon searching Stephen, he was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and a controlled substance. Stephen was arrested and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. 
Stephen was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on October 9th, 2018 to answer to the alleged charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Stephen was then lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.

Upon investigation Matthew Can was taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of stolen property.

Summary of Incident: 
On August 11, 2018, officers were called to the downtown area to check on a possibly intoxicated individual who was allegedly unconscious outside on the ground. Upon arrival he had been woken up and walked away, but was found sleeping on a stairway nearby. 
He was allegedly incapacitated by what was believed to be alcohol. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the Springfield Hospital for medical clearance. While at the hospital he allegedly became disorderly, yelling and swearing and threatening officers in a manner that disturbed other patients in the hospital, including a young family.
Baran was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 10/2/18 to answer to the alleged charge. He was taken to the Southern State Correctional Facility as an incapacitated person.

Summary of Incident: 
On August 3, 2018 an investigation into a citizen dispute began. The investigation revealed that Bruce allegedly pushed a family member into a door jamb causing a minor injury and smashed the mirror off from said family member's vehicle.
Bruce was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 13, 2018 to answer to the alleged charges. Bruce was on supervised release from the Department of Corrections and was lodged by Probation and Parole at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

In the early morning hours of 8-12-2018 a resident was awoken by the defendant at his residence. The defendant was asked to leave and the defendant allegedly got into the victim's truck and drove off without permission to do so. The vehicle was later located in the female's possession and returned to the rightful owner.
Guerrero was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 10-9-2018 to answer to the alleged charge of operating without owners consent.

Officer's responded to a residence on Bridge Street and located Melissa DiMartino who allegedly was wanted for two separate arrest warrants. A subsequent consensual search of DiMartino's purse allegedly produced a number of pills not prescribed to DiMartino.
DiMartion was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 8-6-2018 and 10-2-2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Arrested on Warrant and Possession of stimulant, depressant, narcotic. DiMartino was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility and ordered held without bail.

On June 5, 2018, a chainsaw was reported stolen. It was believed to be taken late in 2017 and just recently discovered. Investigation revealed that a juvenile allegedly stole the saw and traded it to Capron, who later sold it. 
The juvenile with be charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking the saw. Capron will be charged with possession/sale of stolen property for his role in the alleged crime.
Capron was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on October 2, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge.
Juvenile will be cited to appear in Windsor County Family Court on October 3, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge.

On July 26, 2018 at 0513 hours Ofc. Neily stopped a reported stolen vehicle on Orchard Lane in Springfield. ODonnell was a passenger in the vehicle. When asked to identify himself, he gave an alias name and date of birth. 
Once his true identity was learned, it was found that ODonnell had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to have appeared in court. ODonnell was placed under arrest on the warrant and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility. He was issued a citation to appear at a later date for allegedly providing false information to police.

ODonnell was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 28, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of False Information to Law Enforcement. ODonnell was subsequently lodge at Southern State Correctional Facility on the outstanding arrest warrant and issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court reference the arrest warrant.
