On July 31st a female contacted the Springfield Police Department stating that her estranged husband
allegedly had contacted her in violation of an abuse prevention order that was in effect.
The husband was identified as
Elio Merida-Martinez. Martinez was later
contacted reference the alleged violation. Martinez appeared at the Department upon request and was processed for the alleged violation and issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on September 12th.
