Summary of Incident:
On 01/08/18 a motor vehicle
stop was conducted on Park Street, Springfield, VT for a turn signal violation, which had occurred on an adjacent
street. Christopher L Merritt, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an outstanding Vermont arrest
warrant. Conversation with the occupants led to suspected heroin being found on Anna M Andrews. A subsequent search of
the vehicle did no locate any further contraband.
Andrews was cited to appear
in Windsor Country Criminal Court on February 27, 2018 to answer to the alleged
charge of Possession of Heroin. She was released on the citation.
Merritt was cited to appear in Windsor Count V
Criminal Court on January 9, 2018 to answer to the alleged
charge of Failure to Appear for a court proceeding and subsequently lodged at
Southern State Correctional
Facility in lieu of $1500.00) cash or surety bail.
