Summary of Incident:
On
the evening of March 18, 2018 a motorist reported an erratic operator on VT RT
106 traveling into Springfield from
Weathersfield. The caller provided a description of the vehicle as it turned into a housing complex in
North Springfield.
A check of the area by officers found a vehicle matching the description. The registered owner's
address was listed as the complex
where the vehicle was located. Officers made contact with the owner, Lawrence Kraft. Investigation found reason
to believe that Kraft had been operating the vehicle and that he was under the
influence while doing so. Kraft was taken
into custody and processed for suspicion of driving while under the influence.
Kraft was cited to appear in 'Windsor Country Criminal Court on April
3, 2018 to answer to the alleged charge of
Driving Under the Influence #2. He was released on a citation to appear in court.
