was issued for a vehicle that was seen with the operator allegedly drinking beer and
smelling of alcohol. The vehicle was reportedly southbound on the interstate from the Hartland Rest Area. The
vehicle was located and was allegedly
failing to maintain lane position. The operator showed signs of impairment and
was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. The operator has a prior
conviction for DUI in 2017.
Bates was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal
Court on 5/29/18 to answer to the alleged charge(s).
