Summary of Incident:
On 01/12/2019 at approximately 2357
hours I was dispatched to the area of McDonalds, located at 1 Chester Road in Springfield, VT for the
report that there was a vehicle at the drive-thru of McDonalds whose occupants were being belligerent
and appeared to be intoxicated.
The employee at McDonalds advised that
there were open containers in the vehicle as well.
Upon arrival I noticed the
vehicle still in the drive-thru. I advised the vehicle to pull up to a parking space at the McDonalds. I made contact with the
operator/defendant. Upon further investigation, the defendant was found
to be allegedly operating the motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants.
The defendant was cited to appear in
Windsor County Criminal Court on 01/29/2019 at approximately 0800 hours
to answer to the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence.
