On March 8, 2017 Springfield
High School reported an assault which had just occurred in front the high
school. Investigation found that several male youths from the Claremont, NH area
had come to Springfield High School.
One of these youths then confronted and assaulted a
Springfield High School student in front of the school.
As a result of the investigation this youth
was issued a juvenile citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Family Division, Windsor Unit
to answer to the allegation of Disorderly Conduct (for engaging in violent, tumultuous,
fighting behavior) and Simple Assault.
