Summary of Incident:
On 08/23/2018 at approximately 1605 hours Officers
were dispatched to 2 White Street for a report of a burglary. Upon
investigating it was determined that Samuel Colby had allegedly burglarized the
apartment next to his. Samuel was taken into custody and showed officers where he had allegedly hidden the stolen item.
Samuel
was then transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing. Samuel was cited to appear in Windsor County
Criminal Court on 08/24/2018 to answer to the alleged charge of Burglary.
Samuel was subsequently lodged at Southern
State Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or surety bail.
