Summary of Incident:
On 08/25/2018 Officers were
dispatched to a residence on Mineral Street for a report of a possible domestic. Officers
made contact with Nathan Heist. After determining that no one was assaulted Officers
conducted a search of Nathan.
Nathan was found to be in possession of a controlled
substance. When Officers informed Nathan that he was under arrest he attempted to run.
Officers were able to quickly apprehend Nathan and arrest him. He was transported to the
Springfield Police Department for processing.
Nathan was cited to appear in
Windsor Country Criminal Court on August 27th, 2018
to answer to the alleged charges
of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting
Arrest. Nathan was then lodged at Southern State
Correctional Facility in lieu of $7,500
bail.
