Arrest - Reckless Endangerment and Possession of a Bump Stock

Defendant: Stephen Crossley
Summary of Incident:
On 1-24-2019 Officers were called to the Mill Road area for what was described as automatic gun fire. On arrival officers determined that the gun fire came from behind a residence adjacent to several other residences. Stephan Crossley was identified as the subject who fired the weapon. The defendant was arrested the following day after an investigation was conducted for reckless endangerment, and possession of a bump stock. The weapon was seized as evidence pending adjudication.
Stephen Crossley was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on March 12th, 2019 to answer to the alleged charges of reckless endangerment and possession of a bump stock.

Summary of Incident:
On 01/18/2019 at approximately 1940 hours I was dispatched to the area of the Springfield Plaza for the report of a vehicle that was driving erratically then pulled into the plaza. Upon arrival to the area, the complainant pointed out the vehicle and I went and spoke with the two occupants who were now outside of the vehicle. 
As I was investigating the complaint, dispatch was advised of the description of the operator. The complainant described exactly what the defendant was wearing. A check of the defendant's license status found his Vermont driver's license/privilege to drive was allegedly under suspension. 
Macey was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 03/12/2019 at approximately 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge of Criminal DLS.

Summary of Incident: It was learned that Yaqoob was at the Southern State Correctional Facility had was the subject of several in-state warrants out of Windsor and Windham Counties. She was served the warrants at the facility.
Yaqoob was cited to appear in Windham County Criminal Court on 1/14/19 to answer to the alleged charge of wanted person. She was remained lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

Summary of Incident:
On 01/12/2019 at approximately 2357 hours I was dispatched to the area of McDonalds, located at 1 Chester Road in Springfield, VT for the report that there was a vehicle at the drive-thru of McDonalds whose occupants were being belligerent and appeared to be intoxicated. 
The employee at McDonalds advised that there were open containers in the vehicle as well. 
Upon arrival I noticed the vehicle still in the drive-thru. I advised the vehicle to pull up to a parking space at the McDonalds. I made contact with the operator/defendant. Upon further investigation, the defendant was found to be allegedly operating the motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants. 
The defendant was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 01/29/2019 at approximately 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge of Driving Under the Influence.

Summary of Incident: On 12-24-2018 the Springfield Police Department received a Be On the Lookout (BOL) for a vehicle possibly involved in an incident in Claremont, NH. A short time later the alleged vehicle was seen traveling westbound on Vermont Route 11. Upon making contact with the vehicle and a subsequent investigation, Tharen Amidon was found to allegedly be in possession of stolen property and taken into custody.
Amidon was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on 02­-19-2019 at 0800 hours to answer to the alleged charge.

On 12/04/2018 Officers observed suspicious activity involving a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the State Office Building located on Mineral Street. K-9 AJ conducted a sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of drug odors. Tharen Amidon was allegedly the operator of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Tharen was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Tharen was issued a citation for Possession of a Controlled Substance to appear at a later date.
Tharen was cited to appear in Windsor Country Criminal Court on January 29th, 2019 to answer to the alleged charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

It was subsequently learned that allegedly Ms. Ebelt failed to report to the treatment center as ordered by the court.
The investigating officer is seeking an arrest warrant for Ebelt through Vermont Superior Court.
